An Agentic AI for a New Paradigm in Business Process Development

ABSTRACT

Artificial Intelligence agents represent the next major revolution in industrial automation. Departing from traditional task-based approaches to business process design, the authors propose an agent-based method where agents autonomously contribute to the achievement of business goals. The paper introduces a modular model where 'merge goals' facilitate the collaboration of multiple agents, leading to more intelligent, dynamic, and goal-oriented enterprise architectures.
