Visioning Human-Agentic AI Teaming

ABSTRACT

This paper explores the structural shift toward human–agentic AI collaboration systems where autonomous agents participate in complex decision processes. It analyzes the uncertainty introduced by agents capable of evolving goals, planning trajectories, and generating novel outputs. The work focuses on governance models, transparency mechanisms, and collaboration protocols needed for safe human–AI teaming. The authors argue that future organizations will rely on hybrid teams composed of humans and autonomous agents.
