Inference of cancer driver mutations from tumor microenvironment composition: a pan-cancer study

ABSTRACT

This study presents a pan-cancer analysis that identifies driver mutations by analyzing the composition and signaling of the tumor microenvironment. The authors validated their cross-platform inference model across multiple patient cohorts. The findings suggest that the microenvironment's ecological state is a reliable predictor of underlying genetic drivers, offering a new path for non-invasive diagnostics.
