This article explores the shifting hardware requirements necessitated by the rise of autonomous agentic systems in enterprise data centers. It specifically examines how the complex logic and multi-step reasoning of agents increase the demand for robust CPU performance alongside traditional GPU acceleration. The methodology highlights the bottleneck risks in agent coordination and the need for balanced heterogeneous computing.
